Unknown Desk Phone

The origin of this little set is uncertain. There are no markings anywhere on it, and the parts are so generic that they could be from any of scores of European manufacturers. The closest match so far with known phones is Theodor Wagner of Wiesbaden circa 1900. One of my spare time hobbies is looking for a similar phone on websites worldwide in the hope that I may identify it one day. Well, it gives me something to do.
