127 "Tucked" Ericsson
This ugly phone was an APO emergency modification to recycle old phones with
damaged woodwork during the second World War. The entire top was cut off and
the bells were moved inside the battery box.
An even more severely
tucked model is known from the Western Australian Railways. It has the battery
box cut off as well.
